From today until Selection Sunday, keep checking Rush the Court for updates on who’s in, who’s out and seeding.

UPDATES ALL DAY TODAY. FINAL BRACKET REVEALED JUST BEFORE 6 PM ET.

(Note: each of the four teams in one seed grouping is listed in pecking order in terms of who is closer to moving up a seed line. This is used to determine game location and matchups similar to Joe Lunardi’s S-Curve listing).

Every time I look it seems the field gets even weaker than it already is.

  2. The bubble is the crappiest it’s been as long as I can remember actively following college basketball.

  3. rtmsf says:

Well clearly the solution is to add 31 more teams. That’ll solve it.

  4. matt says:

So many shitty teams, surprised the CAA or MVC schools are without solid bubble teams.

  5. JFein says:

How is Ohio a 14 seed? Joe Lunardi has them as a 14 as well and I truly don’t get it. They came in 9th place in the MAC and they have no notable wins out of conference. It is becoming more and more clear that I am missing something for I do not believe the MAC to be a powerful conference.

  6. zhayes9 says:

They have managed to beat 4 RPI top-100 teams which is more than the teams behind them like Montana, Morgan State, etc.

  7. Andrew says:

For all the talk of a weak bubble, I can’t believe we’re at a place now where teams like Florida and Virginia Tech are on the outside looking in.

  8. Brian says:

I don’t have Wake nearly that low, Zach. They have 6 top 50 wins. I have them a 7 or 8 seed. Games earlier in the season count just as much as games down the stretch.

  9. zhayes9 says:

I do. They were despicable down the stretch and lost to Miami in blowout fashion. People say that games earlier count equally. I don’t buy it.

  10. zhayes9 says:

I mean, if you really want to dig deep with Wake, their win at Gonzaga came when Gonzaga’s most talented player was ejected in the 1st half and the Richmond and Xavier wins were at home in OT. Not taking anything away from that, but let’s not go crazy about those wins. All 6 or 7 seeds.

  11. zhayes9 says:

Moving Cal into Last Four In. Guerrero essentially just said they barely look at RPI. Good for Minnesota and Illinois.

  12. Brian says:

Miami is a top 100 RPI team. Not a bad loss by that definition. They also lost to NC State, another RPI top 100 team.

  13. zhayes9 says:

They lost all those games down the stretch. Shouldn’t lose to Miami and NC State.

    Who cares honestly, they’re in.
