RTC Live: Champions Classic (#6 Duke vs Michigan State and #2 Kentucky vs #13 Kansas)

RTC Live is back with another nice slate of games tonight. We’ll close out the 24 Hours of Hoops Marathon with the two most anticipated games of the event. Four of the most prominent programs in college basketball — Kansas, Michigan State, Duke, and Kentucky — will lace them up on the same floor this evening.  Join us for the conversation and analysis, after the jump.

Games 14-15. The night starts off with Duke going against Michigan State. Both teams had pretty interesting weekends with the Blue Devils narrowly surviving an upset bid on Friday night before returning to their typical dominant selves the following afternoon. Meanwhile the Spartans just played a game on a naval carrier with the President of the United States watching. If this was just your garden variety regular season game, it would be worth watching, but tonight could be even more special as Mike Krzyzewski is trying to break Bob Knight’s record for all-time Division I wins. The late game features Kentucky and Kansas, two of the most successful programs in college basketball history, but two that come into the season with very different expectations from their fan bases. While Kentucky should be the heavy favorite one match-up should be particularly entertaining to watch tonight: Wildcat uber-frosh Anthony Davis going against Jayhawk junior Thomas Robinson.
