- Northwestern surprised the Baylor Bears on the road and made up for their bad loss to Illinois-Chicago at home. Bill Carmody’s team was extremely impressive in its win at Waco and here are two key observations from the game.
- Illinois’ Tyler Griffey is having an excellent season after eight games (10.4 PPG, 3.2 RPG). The new coaching staff has helped Griffey gain confidence in his jumper and he looks like a brand new player compared to his first three years in Champaign.
