Ken Pomeroy does what he does and concludes that, when you break down games by minutes 1-40, it’s the first minute of the game where offenses are the least aggressive. Somewhere, some coach will read this and try to put his energizer bunny reserve in for the first couple of minutes of the game. Guaranteed.
Rutgers transfer Greg Echinique will re-surface at Creighton, which was one of his finalists coming out of high school. Big, big get for the mid-major power in Omaha.

Isn't that basically what Matt Painter did last season when he had a healthy Lewis Jackson? Jackson got the starts, but Keaton Grant got the minutes of a starter. Jackson was always the "high-energy change of pace" type guy, while Grant was the cool hand to run the offense for the majority of the time.
Exactly! Painter is a really good coach and he knows his personnel well.
My somewhat facetious point to this comments was that some coach with half a brain will read it, think there's a lot of pretty numbers involved, and try it just because he's losing games. John Brady comes to mind as a likely candidate.
