Around the Big 12: Midnight Madness

Only three Big 12 teams held Midnight Madness events this weekend, but they all partied in style Friday night. Kansas held its traditional “Late Night at the Phog” event, and Texas A&M held its traditional “Midnight Yell,” one of the more unique festivities in college sports. Baylor completed the trio with “Moonlight Madness,” which was televised by ESPNU. Practice is now in full swing — sweat and old-fashioned hard work have replaced the thousands of screaming fans and dunk contests — but here’s a look back at some inages and clips from an eventful Friday night in Lawrence, College Station and Waco:
