Top seed Northern Iowa had little problem with Drake on Friday, but figure to face a stiffer test Saturday when they take on the Bradley Braves. Bradley dominated fourth seeded Creighton 81-62 on Friday. Next up, they’ll look to repeat their performance from February 13, when they defeated UNI 68-59. The key to the Braves’ upset that night was beating UNI on the glass (they outrebounded them by 5) and avoiding turnovers. If they can do those two things again, it’s possible the Braves can pull the upset and put a serious dent in UNI’s NCAA Tournament seeding. The consensus among media in St. Louis is that UNI is going to get an at-large bid regardless of their finish in the tourney this weekend, but a favorable seed is very much on the line.
