Congratulations to ROCKSTER8 for accumulating a total of 363 points to win our Grand Prize this season! Below is the list of all the players who accumulated at least 150 points this year. Thanks to everyone who played Conference Survivor!

WEEK TEN SELECTIONS + RESULTS (03.07.16)

And with that, Conference Survivor has ended. The two remaining games ended with ties, as the ACC finished with three clean survivors — adaven90, BillyB and RoadZ — while the SEC ended with two survivors left standing — Cheickmarksthespot and spartan3186. Everyone who won a game will receive an RTC t-shirt. Congrats to all the winners and thanks to everyone for playing this year.

  • Pac-12 – 1 survivor (Powerslave77)
  • SEC – 2 survivors (Cheickmarksthespot, spartan3186)

WEEK NINE SELECTIONS + RESULTS (02.29.16)

Week Nine gave us a winner in the Big Ten. Congratulations go out to Jaysfan2325 for surviving that one. Here’s how the rest of it looks through eight weeks.

  • Big East – 1 survivor (DEONEconf)
  • Big Ten – 1 survivor (Jaysfan2325)
  • Big 12 – 1 survivor (Rockster8)

  • SEC – 2 survivors*

*as with previous weeks in other leagues, the two SEC survivors because they both lost will not get credit for a win in Week 9 but they will advance to Week 10.

WEEK EIGHT SELECTIONS + RESULTS (02.22.16)

Week Eight finished off two more games, as the Big East and Big 12 each gave us a winner. Congratulations are in order to DEONEconf (Big East) and Rockster8 (Big 12) for winning their games. Here’s how the rest of it looks through eight weeks.

  • ACC – 27 survivors
  • Big East – 1 survivor (DEONEconf)
  • Big Ten – 3 survivors
  • Big 12 – 1 survivor (Rockster8)
  • Pac-12 – 1 survivor (Powerslave77)
  • SEC – 2 survivors*

*as with previous weeks in other leagues, the two SEC survivors because they both lost will not get credit for a win in Week 8 but they will advance to Week 9.

WEEK SEVEN SELECTIONS + RESULTS (02.15.16)

Week 7 did some additional damage, but five games will continue for another week of action. Here’s how it looks:

  • ACC – 33 survivors
  • Big East – 6 survivors
  • Big Ten – 11 survivors
  • Big 12 – 3 survivors
  • Pac-12 – 1 survivor (Powerslave77)
  • SEC – 2 survivors

WEEK SIX SELECTIONS + RESULTS (02.08.16)

Congratulations to Powerslave77, who, with his selection of California in the Pac-12 last week, won that particular game. He will get 100 pts toward the grand prize for his troubles.

In the Big 12, the remaining six players all lost last week. What that means is that they all advance to W7 but they won’t get credit for a winning W6. Because there was some confusion about what happens when everyone loses, the Big 12 W7 is shortened, with games only counting between Wednesday and Sunday.

Here’s how it looks after W6:

  • ACC – 35 survivors
  • Big East – 6 survivors
  • Big Ten – 45 survivors
  • Big 12 – 6 survivors
  • Pac-12 – 1 survivor (Powerslave77)
  • SEC – 23 survivors

WEEK FIVE SELECTIONS + RESULTS (02.01.16)

This week’s standings:

  • ACC – 35 remaining
  • BE – 7 remaining
  • B10 – 47 remaining
  • B12 – 6 remaining
  • P12 – 2 remaining
  • SEC – 29 remaining

WEEK FOUR SELECTIONS + RESULTS (01.26.16)

After four weeks of action, this is where we stand.

  • ACC – 47 remaining
  • BE – 8 remaining
  • B10 – 48 remaining
  • B12 – 6 remaining
  • P12 – 2 remaining
  • SEC – 36 remaining

WEEK THREE SELECTIONS + RESULTS (01.19.16)

And on to Week Three…

WEEK TWO SELECTIONS + RESULTS (01.12.16)

Here’s the W2 selections. Note that we won’t validate these against the rules until the end of this week. Good luck!

WEEK ONE SELECTIONS + RESULTS (01.05.16)

The W1 results are below. The Pac-12 took the biggest hit this week.

Welcome to everyone who signed up to play Conference Survivor this season. We have 183 players, all but a handful of whom decided to play all six conferences. Here are everybody’s selections. Good luck!

—————–

CBB Conference Survivor includes six separate games: one each for the CONFERENCE SEASONS in the ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC. Play any or all of them that you like.

FIRST WEEK DEADLINE: Tuesday, December 29, 6:00 PM. One entry per person per league, please.

RULES

  • Pick ONE team in each of the conference #cbbsurvivor games in which you want to play.
  • You cannot choose teams that you have already chosen in previous weeks, and it is your responsibility to know which teams you’ve already used (but we will cross-check them).

HOW TO ADVANCE

  • If your team goes unbeaten in league play that week, you advance to next week (note: your team MUST play at least one CONFERENCE game; otherwise, you are eliminated).
  • If your team loses at least one CONFERENCE game, you are eliminated. (note: if every chosen team loses that week, everyone survives and advances to the next week)
  • If you attempt to use the same team twice in a conference season, or if your team does not play any CONFERENCE games that week, or if you miss a weekly deadline, you are eliminated.

Deadline for Week One is 6:00 PM ET Tuesday 12/29 because the Big Ten starts that night. No exceptions!

PRIZES

The winner of each #cbbsurvivor league will win an RTC t-shirt. The person who performs the best across all the leagues must play all six games and will be determined by a points system that assigns a max of 100 points to each game. That person will win championship weekend tickets to the conference tournament of his choice.

Good luck!
