Pac-12 Pick ‘Em: Week Ten

As we head into week three of conference play, it is time to catch up with our Pick ‘Em contest. Things tightened up a bit last week, as Connor and Parker led the way with 8-3 records on the week, while Adam and I were a game back of them. But as it is, we’ve got Adam out in front with a one-game lead over Parker, with Connor and I sitting three back. But there is plenty of time for moves to be made and plenty of opportunities this week. Without further ado, here are our picks for the week (both our conference and national games of the week are in bold), with some analysis below.

I’ve got the most to gain or lose this week, as I’m the outlier in three different games. I’ve got Washington going on the road and knocking off Oregon State tonight, while all three of my fellow prognosticators are taking the Beavers to get into the win column. And then, in our two games of the week, I’m on an island as well. I’m taking UCLA to go into McKale Center tomorrow and sneak by Arizona, while I’m on board with San Diego State holding serve in the Viejas Center against New Mexico on Saturday. Connor’s also got some skin in the game this week, in taking Arizona State over UCLA and Utah over Stanford on Saturday. The one game where we’re split down the middle is the Cal/Utah game tomorrow night. Connor and I will be rooting for the Utes to defend their home court, while Parker and Adam have a chance to put a little more space between the leaders and  the back of the pack with a Cal win.
