					<description><![CDATA[Kyle McAlarney was suspended by Notre Dame for a full semester as well for the same offense, which seemed ridiculous at the time (and still does, really). But, you never know if the issue with McAlarney or Redding was truly an isolated incident or merely the only time those infractions became public knowledge. 

I would say if this is really the first time that Nix got in trouble with pot, a game suspension would be plenty sufficient, but if this is a symptom of a larger issue, Izzo won&#039;t hesitate to up the ante.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Reggie Redding was a rising senior for Villanova when he was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia, in his car. Essentially the same offense as Nix. Reggie was suspended for a FULL SEMESTER!!!

I&#039;m very interested in Nix&#039;s punishment. If he receives only a slight deterrent like 1 or 2 games, then what does this say about each program&#039;s discipline? I&#039;ve always believed that Nova disciplines far too harshly, but we&#039;ll see how Mich State handles this.]]></description>
