But, you never know if the issue with McAlarney or Redding was truly an isolated incident or merely the only time those infractions became public knowledge.
I would say if this is really the first time that Nix got in trouble with pot, a game suspension would be plenty sufficient, but if this is a symptom of a larger issue, Izzo won’t hesitate to up the ante.

Essentially the same offense as Nix. Reggie was suspended for a FULL SEMESTER!!!
I’m very interested in Nix’s punishment. If he receives only a slight deterrent like 1 or 2 games, then what does this say about each program’s discipline? I’ve always believed that Nova disciplines far too harshly, but we’ll see how Mich State handles this.
