RTC Live heads into the holiday weekend with an interesting intersectional game involving a Big East team and a team that wishes it was in the Big East. Join us this evening from the Verizon Center in downtown DC, after the jump.

Game #56.  Good evening, internet hoops fans!  Welcome to The Phonebooth for a rare, in-season, non-conference rematch between Georgetown and Memphis. The Tigers are licking their wounds after a loss at rival Louisville, and are hoping to bounce back against another Big East foe tonight.  (Stick with us for more vague and mediocre puns on Memphis’ feline nickname.)  The surprising Hoyas, meanwhile, haven’t lost since their overtime win over Memphis in Maui on November 23, and are now ranked 16th in the country.  Memphis has seen its stock move in the other direction, as the loss at Louisville followed a home defeat to Murray State, bumping the Tigers from the top 25 polls.  Will Memphis be able to exact revenge and reverse these trends?  Join us tonight as we find out.
