RTC Live is coming to you from Syracuse where basketball has taken a back seat to more serious matters over the past two weeks, but tonight it is the site of the game of the night as the two of the top six teams in the country face off in what is one of the more highly anticipated match-ups of the regular season. Join us for our live coverage tonight, after the jump.

Game #45. Syracuse hosts Florida in the Carrier Dome in a match-up of two of the top six teams in the latest RTC poll. The Orange enter the game unbeaten after winning the NIT Season Tip-Off at Madison Square Garden. Florida is yet to come away with a major victory, but is 6-1 with their lone loss being at #2 Ohio State, which just embarrassed a solid Duke team on Tuesday. Syracuse has a balanced attack led by senior swingman Kris Joseph and sophomore Dion Waiters. The Orange’s depth (ten men play over ten minutes) and focus have been key in maintaining its perfect record during the Bernie Fine scandal. Florida’s shooting ability and high-octane offense could pose problems for Syracuse’s 2-3 zone. The Gators are third in the country in scoring at 90.8 points per game. They are paced by the shooting prowess of guards Kenny Boynton and Bradley Beal.
