					<description><![CDATA[It&#039;s a fairly reputable poll service, so I&#039;d assume they&#039;d spread the wealth geographically. That said, 49% of those polled think ECU should be invited to the Big East (which seems high if it wasn&#039;t centered in the east). 

My favorite quote is: &quot;Finally in non-sports related programming North Carolina is down on both of its US Senators. Kay Hagan&#039;s approval spread is 39/43 and Richard Burr&#039;s is 32/43.  So North Carolina doesn&#039;t like Hagan, Burr, Bev Perdue, Barack Obama, the Republicans in the Legislature, or the Democrats in the Legislature. It&#039;s a very unhappy state when it comes to politicians these days.&quot;]]></description>

I would also be curious to see if the poll used a geographically dispersed sample. Wake is going to have a significantly stronger fanbase in Central NC than it would in Eastern NC.
