Matt Howard Beats The Buzzer To Start The Madness
Posted by nvr1983 on March 17th, 2011The NCAA Tournament is already off to a rousing start as Butler, who fell just short of winning a national championship last April, knocked off Old Dominion on a lay-up at the buzzer by Matt Howard. After Old Dominion tied it up at 58 on a pair of free throws, Butler opted to leave the ball in the hands of Shawn Vanzant who stumbled on his way to the basket then threw the ball up in the air and it was tipped to Howard who was under the basket leading to the first moment of this year’s NCAA Tournament that is guaranteed to be on “One Shining Moment”.
