The teams that the pundits cry about (Colorado, Virginia Tech) are uninspiring, mediocre teams.

However, what is fun to think about is how the committee has no idea how to seed mid-major teams that win their conference tournaments. Many ranking systems have Utah State and Belmont in the top-20 in the country (like KenPom) and they get 12 and 13 seeds? C’mon committee!

There are no bubble teams with better wins than Kansas State (THREE TIMES!), Texas, and Missouri. Heck, there are a lot of teams that made the tournament with worse resumes (*Cough*Clemson…*Cough*UAB…*Cough*) than that!

Played one ranked opponent (UConn) and got smoked by 30. Played in the IVY league. They’re in because they beat Colorado at home? Please.

The fact that none of them are in doesn’t bother me much. But really, I don’t have any major problems with any of the teams that are in or any that are out.

Only good win (vs. RPI top 50) was home against Princeton.
Bad loss to RPI 155 Yale. No good road wins.
