Was hoping Gonzaga would be a better test on the 18th, but I don’t know how much they will do against Baylor. Washington State over XMas break in Hololulu could be an okay game, but no real test till conference, with Arizona State dispatched…

I agree with just about everything you said but I don’t think Duke is as unbeatable as you make them out to be. They’ll be helped by the down ACC and an easy non-conference schedule the rest of the way. The toughest team they play out of conference here on out is Temple and that’s at Cameron. I do think they can be beaten by any of the top 15 teams in the country. Doesn’t mean they will be, but they absolutely can be.

I’ve been really impressed with Ohio State and Georgetown. OSU is obviously a final four contender but I think Georgetown has a better chance than most people give them. You make a great point about the Duke model from a year ago, though I’d take this group of Gtown guards over last year’s Duke trio.

I liked what Missouri did against Georgetown but I’m still not buying them as elite eight caliber. You make a good point about Ratliffe but they’re too reckless and sloppy for me in a tough tournament game. Not buying K-State as a final four threat, either.

Illinois seems to be picking it up. The game with Missouri will be a good test.
