I would like to add (from a NC State supporter) that Lorenzo Brown will shock people. From what I am gathering he has been a leader from Day 1, look for him to be more of an impact player than CJ Leslie.

I anticipate this team improving radically throughout the season so getting a very solid OOC win @ Home going into the conference schedule could be a good confidence boost for this very young team. I will say that the home court advantage probably won’t be very impressive. Keep in mind that’s in the middle of winter break at a school with a wine & cheese alumni base and a geographically diverse student body. I am going to try to make it though.
As time progresses, I alternate between extreme pessimism and a bit of optimism. In a fit of optimism, I told a friend I thought we had 18-13, 7-9 in us, with a NCAA bid reliant on ACC-T performance, but now I am not so sure. We are having lots of injury problems (it’s distinctly possible only 6 scholarship players will be available for our exhibition game Friday), and reports out of a closed exhibition were not positive.
