Matt B – thanks for the comment. We should have clarified better. The “up” is from last season, while the “down” (coming Wed.) is likewise. UNC was an NIT team; Florida barely snuck in the NCAAs; etc. We’ll clarify the opening paragraph.

The premise states sorting out the Butlers (a middle ranked team who became a national title contender) and Cornells (a team completely off the radar who made a deep run). You talk about where teams are in October compared to March. Right now, all four of those teams are top 25 teams, and the “predictions” you make seem pretty bland to me. UNC has been picked as a top ten team in both polls, but you predict they will be “up” from right now by avoiding the NIT? If UNC is to be “up” from 8/9, I would think that it would take a Final Four prediction. Same for the others. Pending how the Kanter situation is resolved, Florida is already the favorite in the SEC, which you cite in the write up, yet you predict them to be “up” by returning as the “class of the SEC” which is the same thing. Am I misinterpreting what this article is about or what. I love RTC, but this seems to be a little below par for you guys.
