I’ve long been a proponent that any expansion should be to 68 to balance out the play-in games. My only complaint is that the NCAA is intent on making it the worst teams via RPI and computer rankings as opposed to the last bubble teams (which would probably get much higher ratings). Let the conf champs have their day in the “real” tourney and force the #12 and #13 seeds from the SEC and Big East to win another game!

As for netowrk, those of you old enough to remember know that ESPN did a much better job than CBS–no talking heads or commercials during important game action etc.

It should be 64 (not 65) and leave it alone. The 64 team field has found a median between Cinderella and Power Houses. By upgrading the tournament to 96 you let in more teams that don’t have a legitimate shot to win a National Championship. Yes, you would have extra bonus of a small school upsetting a mediocre BCS school but what joy does the public recieve watching a good CAA team get from beating a bottom shelf Big Ten team. I am begging the NCAA to not ruin one of the greatest times of the year. You have a perfect formula, stick with it.
