That game was horribly officiated too. Hard to get a rhythm as a shooter with all the stoppages but he somehow did it. These refs need to grow a pair and let the players play. I’ve seen far too many Big East games over the last few years where every little bit of contact is called, but if you slam somebody and he falls down while driving to the hoop or under the basket nothing is called. It’s a joke.
]]>Speaking of Big Monday, is Scottie Reynolds a player or what?
]]>I agree on Missouri, they’ll always be in games and have a chance to finish 3rd. The win over KSU was important for possible future tiebreaking purposes.
I don’t see any way BYU loses the Mountain West. UNLV has a nice team but BYU is on another level in my opinion.
Very interested to see how the latest Coach K coaching tree experiment works out in Palo Alto. I think it’ll be better than the rest.
The Pac 10 is nothing more than a mid-major league right now. Sad.
Agree on LA Tech, they should finish first in a down WAC.
Big loss for Wisconsin but I think Bo Ryan will coach that team to 3 wins in that 5 game stretch you mentioned.
I know it’s a rivalry game but I still can’t see how OSU lost to Oklahoma last night after each team came into the game going totally opposite directions. 27% shooting will do it for you though.
Wouldn’t count out MD for the 3rd ACC spot either but it’s a total crapshoot. Any of those teams can get there.
The ND/Cincy game is one of the more important Big East games yet. I wouldn’t call Cincy reeling yet, they’ve still won 5 of their last 7 (yes I know only one was a quality win). The key for Cincy to win more games is to get Gates more touches inside.
