Washington and Cal are clearly the two contenders for the title, one of them will likely win it with a 13-5 record or so. The other will finish second maybe a game back. Even if they struggle for some reason, they should be able to make the tourney with 10-8 conference records, although they will be very bubbly with those kind of records. If either of them get to 11-7, they’ll be golden.
The rest of the league? I don’t think there is a ton of difference between the 3rd best team in the league and the worst team in the league (which would be, who? One of the Oregon schools?). There’ll likely be a big bunch right around 9-9 in the conference, but if one of the right teams (and that would be U$C, maybe ASU or Wazzu) could get to 10-8, or better yet 11-7, they could be strong contenders for a third Pac-10 berth. If its the wrong teams that wind up 3rd (UCLA, Stanford, Oregon, etc), it’s a two-bid season in the conference.
A 4th Pac-10 bid is pretty much out of the question, barring a Pac-10 tourney run by a lower team.
