Jack – we’ve covered that issue on this site several times, and it’s absurd on its face for sure. It started after Gardner-Webb defeated Kentucky in Rupp a few yrs ago and the group sponsoring the tournament missed out on all the Ky fans traveling to NYC.

I mean, I know these preseason tourneys are meant to be a showcase for the top-tier talent, but why even call them “tournaments” at this point if they’re going to do that?
