					<description><![CDATA[Coach K never changed his recruiting strategy...he just got outrecruited (Patterson, Monroe)and got burned on some of targets he got (McRoberts and Paulus).  I mean, Deng was a one and done in &#039;04, but people point to Magette and Livingston as proof that K changed his recruiting style.  I&#039;d imagine that K will get back up there now that he won&#039;t be spending so much time concentrating on USA Basketball.]]></description>

Kate - good point, but Coach K was already in the Pantheon after his third national title in 2001, and he mixed up his recruiting strategy soon thereafter b/c of the Maggette and Shawn Livingston situations.  Knight was already on the downswing by 1992.  Maybe Roy will lose a step on the recruiting trail, but I&#039;d be shocked if he did soon.  If he doesn&#039;t keep the fire to win a third in the next five yrs, I&#039;d be surprised.  Four would be pushing it, but not outside the realm of possibility.]]></description>
