Yeah, can’t figure Flynn out. He might be one of those guys where, if the shot isn’t falling, he takes himself mentally out of the game. Agreed on Koufos. We were questioning his abilities after the Findlay game but last night proved he’s a player. OSU should once again be near the top of the B10. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

Nuss:

Since you’re up there in Washington, are these recurring issues a Lorenzo Romar problem or is it on the players? Just wondering what you’re hearing in WA…

Despite the final score, if Jon Brockman had gotten an ounce of help in that game on the perimeter — their leading 3-point shooter for the game was a 7-footer — UW would have won that game.

If I hadn’t known Flynn was a heralded freshman, he would have gone by completely unnoticed. As for OSU, Koufos is a beast. Hunter looked good, and freshmen Turner and Diebler can play. That’s not a bad team at all.

Oh, and I like how ESPN’s recap says “Koufos’ career day carries Buckeyes into NIT Final”. It’s the third freaking game of his career.

I was pretty impressed with TA&M’s three big guys. Jones is a known commodity, but the two freshmen were quite good as well. DeAndre Jordan was pathetic from the line (0/6), but he was a presence inside, and showed some nice moves around the basket. And I didn’t know who number 0 was, but apparently he’s Bryan Davis (sophomore), and the dude had a good game.

I feel like Josh Carter is off every time I watch him; he shot 50% from three last year, but was 0/6 tonight. If he’s on, Sloan and Kirk are very solid at the guard spots, and they’re gonna be tough inside- I like that team a lot.

TA&M-OSU should be a good one on Friday, I’m looking forward to that. Happy Thanksgiving.
