		<description>Having followed the Big West for the last couple years, I can tell you that this is one of the most frustrating conferences to get a grip on.  Other than Pacific&#039;s run a couple years ago, things change and get weird quicker than any other conference that I&#039;ve ever followed.  UCSB does look like the best team, and I hope they are since I am a fan, but a team like Northridge could easily catch a run against teams struggling and end up on top and then lose five straight falling back into the pack only to see someone like Riverside take over and then fall off again.  Last year it seemed like every team had a little bit of a run like that.</description>
